Photos From my Home
Earlier this year I visited my family and friends in Michigan. It was my mom’s birthday! And my brother’s too! I haven’t been home for their birthdays since moving to Germany 6 years ago. So it was great to be there this year. Well, I brought my old camera along, and I wanted to share a few pictures. First up is my wife Franziska, my Mom, me, and my parent’s dog Rusty. We took him for a walk one day and set up the camera on the ground with the self timer.
One of the first few mornings I was up really early, from jet lag. The sun was coming up and the empty lot next to my parents house was really pretty. Mostly it’s just a bunch of weeds, but if you look close, and with the right light, it really comes alive!
There were alot of really pretty flowers. They caught my eye! But grass can be really nice too in the right light…
And at the end here we have another nice picture of the family, this time including dad!
Daniel - Portraits in Hamburg
Last year I met with Daniel for some black and white portraits in Hamburg. Finally I’m getting around to posting them here! I really like this first one of him sitting..
And this one too…. we met along one of the canals in the city center that eventually runs into the Elbe. It’s not a well known place or anything, but since water and hamburg kind of go hand in hand I like to include it in a portrait when I get the chance.
And this last one is very candid, but we had alot of fun at the shoot, and Daniel is a great guy and fun to be around, and I think this Foto really captures that part of him really well!

Maria & Jose
I met Maria & Jose in Babelsberg on Saturday morning for some pictures of the two of them. We walked around town a bit, starting by the Rathaus, and ended up in Weberplatz. By the time we finished we had some really nice pictures of the two of them.
André & Family
I met André and his Mom and Dad last week for some family portraits. The weather was beautiful and I’m so happy spring is finally here. In a week or two everything will be nice and green. We met in the evening and as the sun was going down the light was really nice. I’m really happy with how these turned out!
Yes! I’d like to meet Robert for coffee, especially since he’s buying!
