Hamburg Hiking

Franziska & I went hiking north of Hamburg about 45 minutes from where we live. It was a bit windy and cold, but still it was nice to be out and about. Highlights include some really old trees, a few nice cows, and a floating bog or marsh. I’m not exactly sure what the English word for it it is. Anyway it was a nice day, check out the pics below.

Canoe Trip in Hamburg

Didn’t manage to leave the apartment yesterday, so we had to do it today. We rode our bikes about 10km or so and rented a canoe for about two hours. Paddled around the canals, and then on the Alster for a short time. Really nice little trip. Pretty cold on the way home though, getting dark here at 4:30 already.
