Trip to Poland

We took a trip with Franziska’s family to visit the area where her Mom’s father came from. It was a bus trip, so along with us were something like 40 other local people that were also interested in the area. We were on the bus at 5am, and arrived just in time for a special church service for us in the church. Franziska’s dad was asked to take part by the pastor performing the service. In the gallery, after the interior church pictures, you can see a group shot of everyone on the trip. Then the 5 of us took 2 taxis to do our own side tour. We saw the school where Franziska’s grandfather was in school, the house where he grew up (until he was 9 years old, and was forced to leave and move west after the 2nd world war ended), and finally the house of his parents. These 3 things come in this order in the gallery.
