Elke & Charlottenburg Castle

On Sunday we met with Elke again and visited Schloss Charlottenburg (don’t know if I spelled that correctly). Schloss is German for castle. It was a pretty impressive place. One room in particular, in the new wing, was really impressive. It was huge, green, with lots of painted gold ornamentation. But there aren’t any pictures because I couldn’t bring in my camera. But the gardens and outside was nice as well, and you can see some of this in the gallery.

Franzika’s 29th Birtday

Franziska turned 29 on Friday, January 16th! One more year of her 20’s is to come. We went to her parents for the weekend, and here is everything that I took.
