We got married!
Well, we finally did it. After four long years, maybe more, Franziska and I got married not once, but twice. You must do everything twice in Germany for it to really count. That’s a lie. But, we did have a really great wedding and reception. Everything was perfect! Thank you to everyone who helped, and thank you to everyone who came and made our day special!

European Vacation
Here are some pictures from before and after Franziska and I got married. Before the wedding was Berlin. After the wedding was Prague, Regensburg, Munich, and Salzburg. They are all very nice places, but Salzburg was on the top of the list for those of us who made it there.

Eurovision 2007!
A few of us got together on Saturday to watch Eurovision. This was my 2nd time. The way it works is every country in Europe plays a song which is maybe supposed to have some kind of meaning. Turns out it’s mostly just fun to watch. Serbia was the winner this year. I was pulling for Ukraine, who’s performance was nothing short of a masterpiece, but they came in a distant second. Can’t wait for next year!

Hamburg
We visited Franziska’s cousin Charlotte in Hamburg this weekend. Charlotte will perform our wedding ceremony, and we needed to talk about a few things in preparation. We also got out and saw some of the city. Hamburg is very nice. There is plenty of water! We took a nice cruise on a boat. We also saw a really cool ‘bike’ which 7 people can ride. The trick think is that they sit in a circle. It had four wheels, real car disk brakes, and rack and pinion steering!
